Which game? In FireRed/LeafGreen, Zapdos is one the Power PLant, which isn't an island. In Platinum, they are all roaming pokemon. In HeartGold/SoulSIlver, Moltress lives in Mt. Silver which is a mountain and Zapdos again in the Power Plant. Unless you're speaking of the anime, but even then, I don't recall Zapdos living on an island.
Umm it was in Pokemon the movie: 2000. They were all battling eachother until Lugia saw that they were destroying the islands and beasted them. :P It was a cool movie.
Cresselia lives on Full Moon Island when it's obviously supposed to be a crescent moon. That doesn't make sense.

DeleteI know that`s kinda dumb. Hey did you know that the 3 legendary birds (Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos) Have their own islands? Thats pretty cool.
